Parkeon North America Awards Distributor Achievements

Parkeon, Inc., global leader in urban mobility solutions for the parking and transit industries has announced that it has presented achievement awards to two of its distribution partners.

At its annual distributor conference in February, Parkeon presented DEVO & Associates the award for Tops Sales Performance in 2013. DEVO ordered almost 150 multi-space parking meters from Parkeon last year, deploying systems in cities such as Morristown (NJ), Freeport (NY), Patchogue (NY), and Pittston (PA).

Traffic Solutions and Design was awarded Most Advanced Parking System for 2013 by Parkeon for its parking system implementation at Utah Valley University. Traffic Solutions installed 15 Strada Pay Stations at the University in Pay by Space configuration, integrated with T2 Systems' handheld enforcement devices. The system is a mix of wireless and Ethernet connected pay stations accepting validation codes from Parkeon's back-office system with a planned integration with Parkmobile for payment by mobile phone.

In 2013 the Parkeon distribution network grew to 16 companies in the US covering 29 states and Puerto Rico.
