The Parking Network Virtual Conference Proves Popular Again

The Parking Network Virtual Conference returned for a busy second edition.

The Parking Network Virtual Conference has returned today for a second edition, with a popular first day featuring contributions from over 20 parking experts. With the Covid-19 pandemic continuing to impact traditional ways of doing business, the Parking Network Virtual Conference brings parking professionals together online. And, as restrictions across the world begin to lift, we give the stage to solution providers who can help the industry adapt to the new norm.

The busy first day saw start-ups, industry titans and parking experts from municipalities take to the virtual stage to share their solutions and tackle the big issues facing the parking industry. We heard about blockchain and the sharing economy from start-ups, explored the touchless trend with ADVAM, considered the benefits of camera-based parking guidance with Park Assist, and touched on a range of other topics including parking protection, RFID and yield management.

As we shifted the focus of this edition to municipal and city parking, we were joined by key decision makers from European cities. Phil Hoare, Head of Parking and Infrastructure at the London Borough of Barnet, Graham Titchener, Parking Services Manager for the City of York Council and Koen Vansteenland, Stad Brugge’s Mobility Expert joined our lively Parking Talks discussion to share their insight into the effect that Covid-19 has had on municipalities in Europe.

Tomorrow, the Parking Network Virtual Conference continues, shifting to US working hours, although of course we welcome parking professionals from all around the world to join us. The touchless trend will be on the menu again, and the packed agenda will cover a broad range of topics from EV charging and parking guidance to virtual ambassadors and enforcement.

The discussion on Covid-19’s effect on municipalities and cities will also continue as we welcome representatives from Colonial Parking, the City of Bend, Washington, Seattle, Milwaukee and Denver. So be sure to register now to save your seat!

And, we are pleased to announce that the Parking Network Virtual Conference will return for a third edition from 29th – 30th June. Would you like to present your solution? Get in touch to find out how. And, if you would like to join the audience again, registration will be open soon.
