Leading Provider, Parkmobile, Joins SAP to Accelerate Cloud-Based Vehicle-Centric Services

Parkmobile, LLC, the leading provider of mobile-enabled parking and mobility-related services, announced today a new agreement with SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) to join the SAP Vehicles Network.

Through the agreement with SAP, Parkmobile will help strengthen the SAP Vehicles Network by adding Parkmobile’s inventory of more than 2,000 locations, including on-street parking in 35 of the top 100 U.S. cities, off-street parking garages, airports, stadiums, universities, and transit decks across the U.S. and Canada. In addition, this partnership aims to enable Parkmobile to delivery-complimentary services and solutions to its over 5 million users, including fueling and food services. The SAP Vehicles Network enables drivers in North America to share data from the Internet of Things (IoT), activate gas pumps, pay at the pump, reserve parking, open off-street parking gates, and pay for on-street parking from the car through a mobile wallet or app.

SAP Vehicles Network also allows app providers and automotive companies an opportunity to gain access to tens of thousands of mobile payment-enabled parking garages and gas stations in key markets. As a result, companies can improve the driver and passenger’s digital experience by using mobile wallets and third-party apps for an integrated in-vehicle experience.
