The powerful all-in-one SmartLPR Access by Quercus Technologies now ensures the optimal management of the car parks at the Dávila Medical Facility in Santiago de Chile, which has recently equipped all its access lanes with 11 SmartLPR units.
Dávila Medical Facilities completed an expansion in 2017 by including new buildings to the complex in Chile. This expansion required that the new parking facilities be controlled with the most innovative license plate recognition technology on the market.
FALP Medical Clinic (Arturo López Pérez Foundation), a world leader in research related to cancer treatment, and also located in the capital city in Chile, has also installed Quercus Technologies LPR units, offering more control over all the movements in the car park.
Apart from bringing increased security to both parking operators and users by gaining comprehensive data about vehicles going in and out of the facilities, LPR technology leads to smart and automatized mobility in parking facilities
Quercus Technologies is continuously improving the recognition rate of license plates in the 183 countries it already operates in. Each country has its specificities concerning grammar, color, and size of its vehicles’ license plates and readings have already been improved in Georgia, Germany, Peru, Ireland, Singapore, Netherlands, Portugal, and Australia.
As an example, before improvements in March, German plates used to be read with high reliability of 98.2%. Analyzing the results after this last release, in a sample of 2,500 vehicles, Quercus achieved more than 99.5% of reading success. This result is calculated considering the reality of vehicles running in Germany taking into account all car shapes.
Quercus Technologies is sure that actions and proof are louder than words. This is why we keep providing substantiated data to our customers and offer performance analysis of all our products installed around the world.
