Quercus has landed in Brazilian Airports

Guarulhos International Airport

Quercus brings the concept of parking management to the forefront of the Brazilian market, having its products deployed in parking facilities of major Brazilian airports, such as Aeroporto BR Express (Guarulhos), Aeroporto ViraCopos (Campinas), Aeroporto AlfonsoPena (Curitiba), or Aeroporto AirportPark, (Guarulhos).  Important Brazilian business centres or shopping malls also have their car parks controlled by means of Quercus products.

SmartLPR® Access LPR units are now installed in Guarulhos International Airport , improving parking management and security level.  Guarulhos airport is the main airport serving São Paolo, Brazil. Ranked first in terms of operations (passengers, cargo, etc.) in 2012, it is the busiest airport in Latin America and its parking facilities have a capacity for 7500 vehicles.

Quercus has made its way on the Brazilian market with the setting up of a subsidiary in São Paolo in 2010. Luis Vergilio, Brazil subsidiary's General Manager, says: "We are glad that such important airports that are the entry gates to our country have adopted Quercus LPR products. Given the high rates of vehicles that access airport parking facilities daily, the need for reliable license plate recognition is more than obvious. Our solution is easy-to-use and offers the highest performance."
