Signalbau Huber is Swarco Traffic Systems

SWARCO TRAFFIC SYSTEMS GmbH as of September 1, this is the new name of former Signalbau Huber GmbH.
SWARCO_TRAFFIC_SYSTEMS_keyvisual_small_320x160rgb_795x530px.jpg"The name changes, our competence in intelligent traffic systems stays the same", confirms Dr.-Ing. Ferdinand von Alvensleben, who, besides Karl Grüner and Elmar Reisinger, is one of the three managing directors of SWARCO TRAFFIC SYSTEMS. "With well-defined tasks and the same contact persons SWARCO TRAFFIC SYSTEMS continues to be a competent partner and provider of turnkey traffic solutions", explains von Alvensleben.

The company structure has been reorganised into four business units. Karl Grüner manages the unit URBAN TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT, Elmar Reisinger is the head of INTERURBAN TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT, Uwe Hahner is responsible for PARKING and Boris Ulrich directs the detection division. "With our company sites in Unterensingen (headquarters), Gaggenau and Trier, we focus on distribution, project management and service, combined with development and production tasks all in one company", says Karl Grüner, pointing out the changes with regard to the former organisational structure with sister company DAMBACH-WERKE.

The development and production of traffic signal systems (ACTROS product range) and detection products is part of the responsibility of SWARCO TRAFFIC SYSTEMS, as well as the production of traffic control systems for the business unit PARKING. DAMBACH continues to provide all business units with static and dynamic signage.

The network of company sites which will gradually adopt the new corporate design, is still divided into four distribution and service regions in Germany, centred around Kiel (North), Berlin (East), Bochum (West) and Unterensingen (South), including numerous local offices.

"Whether our customers need a single traffic technology solution or a complex integrated system they can always contact SWARCO TRAFFIC SYSTEMS knowing that they can rely on our comprehensive know-how and optimized systems and solutions", says von Alvensleben, who is also chief executive of M.TECH AG. The integration into the SWARCO Group will lead to additional synergies in the future.

"In strong collaboration with our affiliated companies of the SWARCO Traffic Management Division we are working on tomorrow's solutions and combine our know-how on the basis of best practice", says von Alvensleben. The new website gives an overview of the extensive range of systems and services in field of traffic technology provided by SWARCO TRAFFIC SYSTEMS.

For Manfred Swarovski, chief executive of SWARCO AG, the integration is an important milestone, strengthening the system competence of the SWARCO Group. "Germany is our most important market. With SWARCO TRAFFIC SYSTEMS, we now underline from Flensburg to Garmisch with the international SWARCO brand our position as one of the leading providers of traffic solutions for cities, motorways, tunnels and parking."
