Smart Parking announced that its Group CEO, Paul Gillespie has appointed Nigel Coltman as UK Chief Executive Officer.
Nigel will assume the role with Smart Parking UK on 1 October, coming from his previous post at NSL Ltd, the leading UK parking service provider for UK Government.
Bringing with him a wealth of experience, Nigel has worked for the past 6 years as a Board Director at NSL - initially responsible for their Local Government Business and more recently tasked with growing their Central Government, Business Processing and Airport divisions.
Along with the Executive Team, Nigel recently helped sell the business in late 2016 to Marston Holdings. Nigel had been with NSL Ltd for the past 13 years in various Senior Management Roles, and prior to that he worked for Central Parking Systems and Whitbread.
Nigel will be instrumental in executing Smart Parking’s UK growth strategy. He will work closely with senior management across the global operation, as well as overseeing the development of existing and new business in both the UK Services and Technology divisions.
Paul Gillespie, Smart Parking Group CEO, comments “Having Nigel on board to lead the UK division is a coup for Smart Parking. His proven track record in both the parking industry and senior positions with growth focus made him the ideal candidate, and we very much look forward to Nigel bringing his experience and unique skill set to the UK CEO role”
