SOFTRA Provides Ticketless Parking Solution for Z-Towers in Riga

License plate recognition provides a ticketless solution for residents of Z-Towers.

SOFTRA has successfully launched the only ticketless and LPR based parking lot management system at Z-Towers, in Riga, Latvia. The two Z-Towers skyscrapers, a multifunctional building containing residential apartments, business offices, and leisure facilities, beautifully shape Riga’s skyline on the left bank of the Daugava river.

License Plate Recognition (LPR) really is the best solution for simplifying the management of big parking lots with complex rules. Large volumes of parking tickets, RFID cards, various tariffs, different car groups with different rights - all these elements can create a nightmare for parking operators, but not with the SOFTRA's LPR. Parking operators can sit comfortably in their office, easily grouping license plates and assigning rules to them, such as permits to enter, timing, payments, etc. And, things get even simpler - parking managers need only set the limits of parking spaces for residents and tenants, and they manage their employees and guest parking themselves.

Drivers also enjoy comfort and safety as tickets and RFID cards are not necessary. Ticketless solutions ensure that there is no contact with devices or people at the entrances and exits of parking lots.

SOFTRA is a leader in the development and installation of parking lot management systems based on license plate recognition (LPR) technology. Hundreds of our customers in Europe and the United States have enjoyed our systems since 2008. SOFTRA is known as a.Lot Parking in the United States.
