Today, TEZ announced the hiring of Steve Resnick, CAPP, a 25-year parking industry veteran, as its Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).
As CRO at TEZ, Resnick (REZ@TEZ) is responsible for integration and alignment of all revenue-related activities at the Company; including marketing and sales, revenue management, customer relations, and a new enterprise pricing model that revolutionizes an operator’s ability to yield substantially more profit from their traditional contracts.
Resnick also possesses a comprehensive background in commercial real estate, which he and other members of the TEZ Client Success Team will leverage to drive TEZ’s domestic and international expansion efforts serving the parking and real estate industries. “Understanding the unique needs of operators, owners and parking customers in today’s ever-evolving mobility landscape is fundamental to our growth strategy at TEZ, as the rapid adoption of mobile payment solutions and cloud-based technology become the primary method of facilitating consumer transactions; in hospitality, retail, commercial, healthcare, large venue, government and private-sector markets,” said Resnick.

Resnick joins TEZ from REEF Parking where he served as Executive Vice President, Municipal Division, and prior to that, Senior Vice President at Citizens Parking. Resnick also acted as Vice President of Municipal Services, Vice President of Business Development, and Senior Manager of Operations, respectively, during his 21-year tenure at SP+. Working on a national level while participating on and building diverse teams, Resnick has been involved in several notable contract awards and operations throughout the US; including in municipal environments, Class-A office buildings, retail and residential projects, hospitals and healthcare facilities, hotels and conference centers, white-glove and large-scale valet operations, mixed-use projects, stadiums, arenas and transportation services.
“My first introduction to TEZ was as a parking customer. I was taken by the ticketless digital experience and intuitive customer survey tool. Subsequently I and my team members brought TEZ into one of our public-sector operations; where we watched thousands of transient, monthly and valet parking customers access TEZ via their smartphones - not knowing they were helping us create a transparent audit trail and useful labor management tool in the process. Coupled with TEZ’s extensive damage pool database aggregating more than 18,000,000 transactions annually, and the ability for merchants to post self-serve banner ads across TEZ’s TargetAdNetwork, I came to view TEZ as the next frontier in parking. This ultimately led me to my new role at TEZ. I’m looking forward to collaborating with TEZ team members and our diverse clientele to help expand the TEZ digital platforms across all industry verticals,” said Resnick.
Resnick serves on the Board of Directors for SWPTA and is Chair of the Rules Committee. He has been actively involved and supported myriad civic, charitable and professional organizations e.g. IPMI, NPA, BOMA, ICSC, GreySave and Hemopet. He is a past Board Member of the SMCC; serving on its Parking Task Force and Government Affairs Committee, as well as the Capital City Partnership Board, and was past President of the Tarzana Estates HOA.
