TagMaster Provides Hands - free Access to Green Bay Sports Arena

TagMaster North America, Inc., the leading provider of long-range and high-performance Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems for Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI), was installed at an outdoor athletic stadium in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Martin Security Systems, a security systems integrator, needed a hands-free AVI system for entry and exit to the parking area. TagMaster’s long-range RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) readers were integrated with a 36-bit Wiegand access control solution.

Using the LR-6 XL and S1255 MarkTag Classic ID-Tags, drivers are able to be identified from more than 30 feet away as they approach the gated parking area. The tags are mounted from the rearview mirror using the S1960 HangTag Accessory which fits any TagMaster Classic style tag.

TagMaster LR-series readers come with several industry standard interfaces built-in including RS232, RS485, and Wiegand. There is also a TCP/IP connection for easy configuration and setup up. The LR-6 XL reader operates in the 2.45GHz frequency and includes many features such as an enhanced read range (up to 46 feet using the S1240 MarkTag MeM ID-Tag), directional read lobes (so that readers can be placed near each other and in adjacent lanes), Frequency Hopping (to avoid conflicts with other devices on the same frequency), and an LED indicator on the front of the reader (visual confirmation that the reader is on and reading tags.)
