Prominent Industry Executive Joins Towne Park To Drive Strategic Growth

TOWNE PARK, a premier provider of valet parking, parking management and hospitality staffing solutions, announced the appointment of Steven M. Zaccagnini as Executive Vice President, Corporate Development based in Annapolis, MD.

“Steve brings 25 years of executive level leadership experience in the parking, commercial real estate and facilities services industries and an incredible background of identifying strategic opportunities within our space and creating new lines of business. 
His deep experience in acquisitions and alliances as well as leading strategic business units will be a valuable addition to the leadership team as we identify and pursue new opportunities for growth,” said Jerry South, Towne Park’s Chief Executive Officer.

Steve joins Towne Park after an extensive and successful tenure at ABM Industries Inc. (ABM), a leading integrated facilities firm with fiscal 2012 revenues of $4.4 billion and nearly 100,000 employees.  At ABM, Steve held numerous senior executive and corporate officer roles including being named Chief Marketing Officer of the parent corporation ABM Industries in 2011 where he was responsible for Developing Market Strategies to Drive Organic Growth while simultaneously leading two of its key subsidiaries, Ampco System Parking ($650 million in revenues and ABM Security Services ($400 million in revenues) as the Chief Executive Officer since August 2007.

Throughout his tenure at ABM, Steve was an integral part of the growth of several of their facility services divisions, including being directly involved in key transactions such as L&R Parking, HealthCare Parking Systems of America and The LINC Group to expand those businesses through acquisitions. “Steve will bring these demonstrated skills and experience — combined with innovative new ideas and approaches — to advance the execution of our strategic initiatives and promote sustained top line growth and profitability,” said Dave Nichols, Towne Park’s President and Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to joining ABM, Steve served as Senior Vice President of Jones Lang LaSalle from April 1989 to February 2002, with executive level responsibility for property management, facility management, agency leasing and business development.  He began his career as an engineer at General Dynamics in 1983 after graduating from the University of Dayton, where he earned his degree in Industrial Engineering.
