European Commission funding Worldsensing's "Fastprk 2"

Under the name “Fastprk 2”, IoT company Worldsensing entered a proposal to the European Commission on “enhanced on-street parking management, and the project has been selected for funding. The European Commission has chosen it within the Horizon 2020 SME Instrument Call (Phase 1, grant agreement no. 685196).

The SME Instrument Phase 1 consists of exploring and assessing the technical feasibility and commercial potential of a breakthrough innovation that a Small-Medium Enterprise (SME) wants to develop and commercialise.

Fastprk 2 will run from July 1st to December 31st 2015, and it aims to increase the market penetration and adoption of Fastprk, Worldsensing’s Smart Parking Solution based on embedded wireless sensors installed in each parking bay. The project will focus on gaining market share of this smart on-street parking solution, which introduces certified 100% accuracy on occupancy detection along with advanced services for cities and citizens.
