Software version V8 released
A new software version, V8, has been released by WPS Parking Systems.
This software version is suited for the latest version of parking systems by WPS Parking Systems. Many new features have been added to this software version compared to the previous version, V7.
The most important new feature in the new software version is the possibility to work with a local and central database. The advantage of the use of a local and central database is that management companies can work with one central database for multiple parking facilities, while at the same time the local parking facility has access to a local database. Constant synchronisation between both the local and central database takes place so that both databases are up-to-date. In previous software versions the only available database had a limited capacity and was stored on the BC200 PC, while with this new feature both databases have unlimited capacity and are accessible via the Internet.
Some other new features are:
- Bonus percentage for Value cards
- LPR as Monthly
- Using value cards as Debet cards
