As riders board the vehicle, they present their smartphone, and the ZipBy Mass Transit Controller verifies their access permissions and/or processes payment. Confirmation is presented on both the ZipBy Mass Transit Controller screen and the rider’s smartphone screen without requiring the app to be opened.

This is a significant departure from existing solutions requiring tedious QR code scanning,  smart card issuance, and manual tracking mechanisms as the controller does all the heavy lifting to provide an experience unlike anything you have ever seen before! Riders can also take advantage of features like ZipBy’s GPS location tracking to see where the vehicle is in route to their location, reservations, in-app permit purchasing, and receipts.
