CRYOGENIC TRANSPORTATION NAMES RICH RAMACH PRESIDENT & COO

August 4, 2003 -- Baytown, Texas -- Richard A. Ramach was named president and chief operating officer of Cryogenic Transportation on July 10, 2003, according to David M. Boucher, chairman and CEO. Mr. Ramach joined Cryogenic in 2002 as vice president-east region operations and sales. He came to Cryogenic from Quality Carriers, where he was vice president and general manager of its dry bulk division known as TransPlastics, Inc.

NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM APPOINTED

Ramach spent most of his career with Chemical Leaman, the largest over the road carrier of specialty chemicals in the US. Leaman was sold to Apollo Advisors in 1998 and then merged with Montgomery Tank Lines. The combined entity was later named Quality Carriers.

Mr. Ramach has been in the specialty chemical trucking business for more than 30 years, with most of that time at Chemical Leaman. He started his career in trucking at Forbes Trucking as manager of tank cleaning and garage maintenance. Forbes was later acquired by Chemical Leaman. Rich moved up the ladder quickly following the Forbes sale and over time became vice president and general manager of Chemical Leaman?s dry bulk division that included 18 terminals, 300 drivers, 330 tractors, and 450 trailers, with annual revenue of $50 million.

Cryogenic also named Kevin Knight Director of Operations, reporting to Ramach. Knight has been with CTI for seven years and has had responsibility for its largest terminal facility located in Baytown, Texas, and most recently has been the director of CTI?s centralized driver training facility, also located in Baytown.

The third member of CTI?s senior management team is David Dudley, chief financial officer. Dudley joined CTI in early 2002 from Quality Distribution, where he had accounting and financial responsibility for its dry bulk, tank cleaning and non-US operations. Dudley worked at Chemical Leaman prior to its merger with Montgomery Tank Lines as CFO of the dry bulk division.

Cryogenic is owned by David Boucher, George McFadden and David Hamilton, who were the former owners of Chemical Leaman. ?Rich did a great job for us at Chemical Leaman and we are glad to have him back running our company. We have a great team that also includes Kevin Knight as Director of Operations and Dave Dudley as CFO. Boucher said.

Cryogenic Transportation is a leading transporter of industrial gases serving customers from eight locations throughout the US. CTI, currently headquartered in Baytown, Texas, has been in the industrial gas business for more than twenty years.
