MobileNOW! continues East Coast growth; expands mobile payment in South Orange

MobileNOW!, the global technology innovator with the world’s most flexible and user-friendly mobile payment solution for parking, is expanding throughout the East coast.

MobileNOW! Expansion

The most recent MobileNOW! expansion in the east region supports the launch of a new facility in South Orange, New Jersey. Residents and visitors can park and pay via the free MobileNOW! app or by using the MobileNOW! IVR system.

Prior to the new South Orange parking structure, MobileNOW! successfully completed a pilot program at two South Orange train stations and continues to expand based on direct response from the community.South Orange Parking Authority

The South Orange Parking Authority is pleased to partner with MobileNOW! to continue mobile payment convenience in all of South Orange,” said Mark Hartwyk, Director, South Orange Parking Authority. “After a very successful pilot program and subsequent expansion, we are pleased to extend MobileNOW! in our newly built garage on Third Street. We look forward to future collaborations with MobileNOW! to bring South Orange additional value added parking options.”

MobileNOW! will integrate with Metric multi-space meters throughout the new facility. This streamlined integration allows enforcement officers to recognize mobile payments in real time, thus reducing human error and inadvertent citation issuance.

“The charming township of South Orange is a very connected community,” said John Oglesby, MobileNOW! President and CEO. “We are very pleased to be part of their brand refresh, and we will continue to support the new face of South Orange through providing the ultimate convenience of mobile payment for residents and visitors.”

Oglesby will be available for questions at booth #2101 at the upcoming International Parking Institute (IPI) conference in Nashville, TN on May 17-20, 2016.
