Parking Association of the Virginia's 2009 Spring Workshop and Business Meeting
This annual meeting allows parking professionals the opportunity to share new ideas, gain technical expertise, keep abreast of industry advancements and to offer a venue for members to network with associates from the parking industry. This event includes world-class speakers, presentations and learning opportunities in both informal workshops and lecture formats, and is considered the Virginias and West Virginias parking industry's most significant statewide networking opportunity.
The Trade Show
A significant part of the annual conference meetings is the accompanying trade show. It is here that innovation in the parking industry is showcased. Members who may be shopping for new control equipment, IT solutions, or other new ideas can view state-of-the-art products at work, speak to vendors and place orders.
Round Table discussions provide an opportunity for the different sectors of the industry to meet for informal "shop talk" sessions and have become a tradition at the annual conference. It is here that members speak freely and share problems, insights and solutions that are specific to their sector. Where else can airport parking managers, municipal parking authorities, hospital parking operators, etc. get together to discuss their specific problems? Parking professionals return year after year to renew acquaintances and meet new members.
