The Al Rajhi Bank is one of the largest Islamic banks in the world with its headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The bank was looking for a solution to control security and vehicle access to the parking facility for employees. With the successful implementation of Nedap’s automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) platform, vehicles are identified at long-range to enable frictionless, secure vehicle gate access. This project is successfully implemented by Idex Services, as a stand-alone system for vehicle identification.

When completed in 2012, it became the tallest building in Jeddah and is served by a large 11-storey parking garage. Nedap’s long-range identification solutions provide seamless vehicle access to employees and long-term tenants. The devices were successfully installed and integrated with Lenel access control system OnGuard by Idex Services.
