The Role

We are looking to expand their team with an experienced Partnership Manager. As a Partnership Manager within New Business you will work to identify and secure new strategic corporate partnerships as part of the Urban Hubs strategy. These partnerships will be purpose-led, income generating, ensuring their long-term sustainability and impact beyond just generating initial financial return. You will be working both collaboratively and independently to identify opportunities and secure new income from corporates. You'll be a creative self-starter, with the ability to think strategically and outside the box to give us the competitive edge.

What you'll do

  • To seek, identify and secure new business partner opportunities as part of the Urban Hubs strategy.
  • Possess strong people skills enabling you to nurture relationships at all levels internally and externally, proven experience of securing six figure new business deals.
  • To form and maintain working relations with key players within public and private sector organisations where such relationships may enhance the company’s business opportunities.
  • Gain an understanding of procurement procedures and processes in both the public and private sectors.
  • To develop a range of promotional materials, as part of a strategy for raising the profile of APCOA within new and existing areas
  • To work with other members of the Operational Team, in the promotion of the Company and it’s services as part of the strategy for raising the profile of APCOA within new and existing client areas.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety requirements and best practice at all times.
  • Prepare key information for the preparation and presentation of our value add proposal to potential clients and business partners, working closely with colleagues in operations and finance in putting together the relevant financial and budgetary information for a proposal.

What you'll bring:

  • Sound knowledge of corporate partnership development whose experience has been gained in the commercial sector, B2B or company CSR dept.
  • The ability to influence with impact and possess strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills, internally and externally
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Understanding of high value funding cycles and trends
  • Experience in budgeting, reporting and strategic planning
  • Experience of working in a similar role within the service or business to business sectors
  • Experience of client presentations and negotiation.
  • Ability to establish and maintain credibility with clients
  • Good interpersonal skills, well organised and able to prioritise work
  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent.
