The focus of the Role

To work as part of the onsite APCOA Daily/Events Management team ensuring an excellent level of service is provided across all areas and Car Parks are operating efficiently at Ricoh Arena.

What you'll do:

  • Ensure the safety, security and service of car parks, customers and property
  • Prepare rotas, supervise the site attendant and cover for absences when required
  • Carry out relevant basic maintenance of payment machines and other company equipment
  • Check entry tickets/permits are valid and issue Parking Charge Notices if necessary
  • Maintain the high standards required by local Service Level Agreement and assist with action plans of any issues raised by the client
  • Deal with customer complaints at the point of service failure
  • Ensure Car Parks have been patrolled prior to start of the Event Day any faults logged
  • Ensure that the team are effectively running the car parks, meet and Greet service at all times
  • Report all relevant actions/issues to Control in a timely manner
  • Monitor and report the SLA performance of the service provided by APCOA
  • Complete and file all relevant Health & Safety documentation
  • Check car park layouts are correctly laid out for next event or daily operation
  • Ensure that incidents are recorded thoroughly and accurately

  • Comprehensive literacy, and interpersonal skills in order to deal with the public effectively

  • The ability to work with minimum supervision but also as part of a team
  • Able to problem solve during stressful situations
  • A full, clean driving licence
  • An enjoyment of working in all whether conditions

What we’ll offer you:

  • £24,500 per annum
  • 37.5 Hours per week - working on a rolling shift pattern (early and late) potential for earning overtime
