Technical Program Manager (Austin, US)

We are seeking an innovative Technical Program Manager to contribute to the development of new technology products for FLASH. You will be working within our R&D team to drive the development and implementation of new and exciting products and services. Working closely with engineering, product management, operations & supply chain, sales, and other technical support groups in cross-functional teams, you will manage the lifecycle of highly complex, high risk projects.

What You'll Do:

  • Plan and manage product development stages.
  • Collaborate with system engineers and software architects.
  • Report product development progress to senior directors.
  • Oversee product deployment and integration.
  • Diagnose and resolving technical issues.
  • Evaluate product performance metrics and facilitating adjustments.
  • Document processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Keep up with advancements in product technologies

What You've Done:

  • 6+ years experience in project and program management
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering, Technology Management, Business Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong competency with project management tools (JIRA, etc.) and various project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.)
  • Extensive experience in software product engineering, deployment, and integration
  • Advanced proficiency in programming languages and coding, such as JavaScript
  • Past experience in at least one modern programming language (C#, Java. Node.JS, etc)
  • Proven working experience in process optimization and the management of a system implementation project
  • Proven track record on creating realistic project plans and overseeing execution to meet commitments and deliver with predictability

  • Ability to evaluate product performance metrics, as well as diagnose and resolve issues

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently in a global fragmented environment
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, the ability to self-prioritize and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to research issues, make evaluations on problems and recommend viable solutions
