Genetec’s Product & Industry Marketing team is a highly-skilled group of marketers who bridge the worlds of technology, sales, and our markets with ease and are experts on our buyers. The ideal candidate is driven by success, understands marketing, but also naturally curious and at-home with technology, making them a credible and reliable voice for the outbound messaging of our solutions The candidate will form an important part of the outbound communication chain and as such will be measured on the effectiveness of their marketing plans, their understanding of the market, and their ability to drive strong demand. Successful candidates can choose between a variety of products and industries to support, including; SaaS-based video management system, an IP-based ALPR system, a collaborative decision management system, or the urban mobility & transit industry.
Responsible for developing powerful messaging, bringing products to market, and helping colleagues to effectively position our portfolio of products
Accountable for the go-to-market plan, product launches, and ongoing activities
Own the marketing and outbound messaging of our products
Define the value proposition and develop sales tools that support our marketing strategy
Understand the market, our technology partners and competitors
Analyze market and channel data to create action plans that target buyers and markets
Train sales and the channel so they can easily position and sell your products
Develop smart, organized and effective outbound campaigns and programs whilst collaborating closely with the product, sales, and marketing communications teams
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of B2B marketing experience
Demonstrated success in working with Communications, Sales, and Product Management
Excellent Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), with a strong command of Excel data analysis
Very strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and French and you are comfortable speaking publicly
