The Spirit of the Position:

The Administrative Analyst supports the administrative and operational teams in ensuring quality data is recorded and analyzed to improve processes within the operations. Roughly 50% of the administrative analyst’s time will be spent accurately recording data for the administrative team, while roughly 50% of time will be spent auditing/recording and analyzing data for the operations team.

Principal Job Duties:

  • Process validation requests and ensure all are authorized by departments prior to printing and delivering
  • Customer support for various locations involving monthly Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Bank Reconciliations
  • Creating and posting Daily Revenue Reports and deposits
  • Handling of credit card disputes and chargebacks
  • Perform audits at operating locations to detect safety concerns, potential fraud and revenue leakage
  • Provide an unbiased assessment of employee and location performance as observed during audits
  • Ensure that all operations are in accordance with LAZ standard operating procedures & internal control procedures
  • Work collaboratively with local senior management to evaluate operational consistency with LAZ policies and procedures
  • Analyze data and provide presentations/reports to management on findings and recommendations for improved efficiency or value creation
  • At times performing special projects for manager

Requirements:

  • Basic computer skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Should be able to work standard business hours
  • Able to work unsupervised

Education:

  • High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience:

  • 1-2 years in general accounting or finance
  • Strong customer and/or client service experience
  • Property management accounting experience is preferred but not required
  • Parking industry experience is preferred but not required

Skills:

  • Strong customer service skills and abilities

  • Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point and General Microsoft Office Applications

  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 10 pounds
