The business intern/Recruiter supports the HR Manager and management team by recruiting and hiring staff for available positions within CampusParc. As a company committed to providing an employee-focused servant leadership culture; the Human Resource Intern will be the forefront for hiring and onboarding of new staff into the organization. The individual will also be required to support programs and initiatives originating from the Home Office and the changing needs of our operational teams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for targeting, recruiting and onboarding all new hires into CampusParc. Will also provide support services to the HR including areas of employee relations, workman’s compensation, safety, and benefits, as well as provide support to the Event Manager by tracking attendance and ensuring attendance policies are enforced.
Individuals must demonstrate leadership and the ability to manage change driven by company growth. This is a fast-paced, multi-faceted position that requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong customer service, sales, communication, problem-solving, and management skills are a must.

Work with the HR team and managers to meet the recruitment goals/needs of company departments.
Assist with HR administrative tasks such as filing, tracking and documenting to ensure compliance.
Conduct, schedule and manage orientation for newly hired employees.
Responsible for coordinating with the regional team with recruitment, on-boarding, training, and general HR administration.
Responsible for employee relations issues; ensuring pro-active, compliant management while supporting the company culture and servant leadership model
Maintaining compliance with all state and federal laws in regions including wage and hour laws; updating forms, policies, procedures as needed in coordination with Home Office
Ensure that all recruitment and on-boarding process and procedures are compliant and follow company standards including background checks, DMV checks, drug screens, and new hire documents

Qualifications and Experience
Knowledge of Google Drive/Docs/Sheets
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to maintain professional working relationships at all levels of the organization
Ability to balance company objectives with the personal needs of employees
Ability to multi-task and interpret policies, procedures, and standard business practices
Ability to work independently
Ability to solve problems and recommend comprehensive solutions
Ability to deal with high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines
Previous experience in a recruiting environment preferred, but not required.
High School Diploma
Working towards or have received a degree in Business / Human Resources preferred
