Your job as Marketing Communication Professional

As marketing communication professional, you have a varied range of responsibilities and you contribute to strengthening the identity and positioning of our products and services. You will be responsible for realising activating content that we can use to increase our visibility in the market, both online and offline. You create content together with our team for, among other things, campaigns, newsletters, cases, blogs, white papers, and case studies. Moreover, you contribute to maintaining, improving, and keeping our website and social media platforms up to date. When doing so, you obviously respect our corporate style, and you make sure that we continue to be recognisable and top-of-mind for the target audiences we want to appeal to. You select the right media platforms / specialist media, stay in touch with the press contacts of specialist media (press list), and write content that is relevant and interesting for that target audience.

In terms of product marketing, you help define how product packaging should look and what a customer receives along with the products (documentation) in order to simplify installation as much as possible. You are responsible for brochures and product flyers, and you contribute to creating technical product documentation together with our developers.

Our market group takes part worldwide in fairs and events, which are organised meticulously from our headquarters in Groenlo. You are responsible for appealing stand design, you coordinate the buildup, logistics, and you make sure our target audience is persuaded by our message and identity through online and offline campaigns. For that purpose, you work with colleagues and partners in the same country and abroad, based on transparent planning and mutual communication.

In this capacity, you work with a dynamic team of experienced and enthusiastic colleagues (marketing, product managers, sales) who can increase your, and hence our, success within their specialities.

Required experience and skills as Marketing Communication Professional

  • You get excited when reading the description above, and you can’t wait to roll up your sleeves and get started.
  • You have at least finished a bachelor’s degree (HBO) that focused on communication and marketing;
  • You have 3-5 years of (work) experience in marketing through relevant internships and/or work experience, with the following characteristics:
  • Demonstrable online marketing experience;
  • Experience managing social media and online advertising campaigns;
  • Experience writing appealing content, with extra points if you are capable of translating technical complexities into understandable language;
  • Good knowledge of SEO, SEA web analytics, and the optimisation of websites/landing pages;
  • Knowledge of tooling such as Photoshop, Indesign, and Illustrator;
  • Knowledge of and an interest in planning, coordinating, and executing international events;
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/PowerPoint/Excel).
  • You are commercially minded;
  • Good speaking and writing skills in Dutch and English;
  • You are not afraid of taking initiative;
  • You have excellent communication skills;
  • You are driven, enthusiastic, and result-oriented.
