Overview of the Role
ParkMobile is looking for an experienced, self-motivated, and talented digital copywriter who can provide solid copy writing, proofing, and editing for multiple ParkMobile websites, PR, SEO, social media, and digital marketing campaigns.
What You’ll Do
Write compelling digital copy and descriptions to promote our product solutions that adhere to editorial standards, ParkMobile and our clients brand guidelines and legal requirements – including, but not limited to web pages, blog posts, PR, emails, articles, collateral, video scripts, social media, infographics, banner ads, …etc.
Support content planning process through ideation, brainstorming, and pitching of new content
Review published content and suggest improvements and updates when needed to better fulfill user intent and/or business needs
Draft and distribute press releases announcing company news
Manage editorial calendar
Work with designers and corporate marketing managers to conceptualize and set copy strategy for advertising and marketing campaigns
Monitor performance of content initiatives to recommend and implement optimizations
Conduct site audits, competitor assessments and best of breed strategic analysis in support of projects
Serve as a copy and informational resource to internal and external partners; assists other departments with promotional and advertising needs
Manage interns, volunteers, vendors, and part-time staff as needed in executing marketing and public relations tasks
Who You Are
Content marketing writing experience with a strong portfolio of content in a variety of digital formats
Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or any other content-related degree
Love to write and enjoy a steady pace of writing
Enjoy collaborating with others and will embrace working closely with design, marketing, and product team members to deliver the ParkMobile tone and voice across all our owned and earned platforms
Have a sense of humor, and when appropriate, can apply that to your writing to advance our brand voice
Previous experience working with Brand Voice
Strong grasp of Branded Content
Working knowledge of SEO and proficiency following relevant guidelines and best practices
A proven record of crafting solid copy across a number of mediums
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Must be detail-oriented and deadline-focused
Demonstrated excellent grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills
Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other relevant software
