As a Government Relations intern, you'll play an integral role in executing our Government Relations mission to drive city growth and innovation through public policy approaches and municipal partnerships. You will sit at the nexus of collaborative departments (Sales, Marketing, Business Development) and play a key role in the coordination of government relations strategy and operations. You will research key issues related to mobility technology (i.e. micro-mobility, contactless payments, enforcement, and the intersection of mobility and public health).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Government Relations outreach to municipal leaders and transportation officials
• Conduct policy research around issues relating to mobility, smart cities, transportation innovation, and parking systems
• Create white paper about mobility landscape and current issues in order to influence policy around mobility innovation
• Identify, vet, and accelerate partnerships with key mobility organizations across the country
• Participate in marketing team meetings and development of marketing materials
• Execute miscellaneous tasks as needed

Key Outcomes

• The final presentation of key internship deliverables with the Senior Leadership team, specifically presenting on:
• White paper presentation on a selected policy issue
• Key findings of Passport policy development opportunities
• Summary of relationships with municipality leaders and transportation officials enabled and key outcomes
• Report on count and actions taken to enhance relationships with key mobility organization
• Overall internship experience

Qualifications

• 1st or a 2nd-year Graduate student pursuing a Master’s degree in public policy, urban planning, or related field
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/ Google Suite
• Strong attention to detail
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Strong research skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English
