About the Role

As a Project Manager for Passport, you embody the concept of creation, organization, and development of multiple activities within your field of focus. You are the keeper of the keys as it relates to our successes both communicated and realized which are aligned to the strategic objectives at Passport.

You work cross-functionally on a day-to-day basis to ensure that multiple organizations, teams, and stakeholders work collaboratively to ensure the alignment of our core strategies as a company. You influence when necessary, simplify where possible, and ensure that everyone is driving toward the same set of goals.

You will work regularly to develop project scope, schedule, budget, and change management plans. Adoption and collision management are core to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of services within our ecosphere. Effective time and relationship management are also key areas of expertise that you possess, understanding that is not only about the work being performed but more importantly how it is continuously adopted and accepted by the organization and our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of company projects and initiatives
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered within scope and budget aligned with the schedule.
  • Drive the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Ensuring and managing resource availability and allocation.
  • Craft and maintain detailed project plans, monitoring, and tracking mechanisms
  • Manages changes to project scope, project schedule and project costs utilizing appropriative verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance utilizing appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalation risk, issues, and the decision needs proactively as needed.
  • Manage the relationship with all stakeholders and clients.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks and issues.
  • Meet with stakeholders and take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements for each project.
  • Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members’ individual completion of short and long term goals.
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, business process landscapes, and other required documentation to ensure success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree with at least 4 years of program management experience
  • Proven experience within project management
  • Proven stakeholder management skill sets and successes
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Fluency in Project Management practices and core project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and/or SCRUM.
  • Ability to influence (direct/indirect reports, project stakeholders, and leaders) and manage in a matrix organization
  • Structured, methodical, and organized in execution, assume full ownership and accountability for outcomes.
  • Drives for results and ensures certainty in delivery, ability to manage multiple parallel efforts and deliver quality on schedule.
  • Adept organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking

You’re the one whom everyone recognizes that you’ve got it together. Always prepared and ready to communicate at the most intimate levels of the project or initiative while also being able to maintain fluency with the business-focused execution areas.

The terms scoping, risk management, demand, change and adoption management are areas that you are completely comfortable both working within and owning at the highest levels.

You’ve managed a multitude of initiatives, executed a myriad of projects, and coordinated multiple activities across an organization in parallel to ensure the desired outcome. Watching multiple areas of a project come together for a realized success is what drives you daily, you are not afraid to be the voice of reason when necessary while at the same know-how to execute when it’s demanded.
