We are seeking a motivated and driven individual to lead Rekor’s efforts to build, strengthen, and expand our talent footprint. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for attracting external talent and supporting internal mobility in both a strategic and tactical manner. They will oversee the day-to-day recruitment processes while directly interacting with hiring managers to understand and fill their open positions. Role and Responsibilities
Cultivate strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their business operations and talent needs.
Manage the recruiting lifecycle from start to finish – identifying candidates, reviewing applications, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, initiating the offer process, etc.
Develop and execute creative talent acquisition strategies to successfully fill open positions.
Create a regular cadence with hiring managers and other internal stakeholders to discuss progress of filling open positions.
Manage open requisitions to ensure postings are kept active and up to date
Provide coaching and training to managers on hiring, screening/interviewing best practices, and how to effectively use our applicant tracking system, ADP.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as colleges, universities, recruiting agencies, etc.
Work in conjunction with the HR Generalist to facilitate the onboarding process for each new employee
Any other duties as assigned by the Director of HR
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or other related field
5+ years of recruiting experience with a focus on hiring technical roles in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and articulate hiring strategies for complex business groups
Strong analytical skills coupled with a broad business perspective
Strong level of independence and ability to function autonomously
Seasoned recruiting leader with previous success in a rapidly growing technology company
Skilled at using data to analyze recruiting trends and gaps, diagnose challenges, and develop solutions to improve recruiting methodologies
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience with ADP, specifically the recruiting and onboarding modules
Experience in recruiting for a variety of roles including engineering, sales, and operations
Ability to take initiative and prioritize multiple roles in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake etc.
Passionate about hiring and onboarding new team members at a rapidly growing company
Demonstrated computer skills utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent written, communication and presentation skills
