The Sales Engineer (SE), working closely with the PARCS Sales team, is responsible for the software (FLEX) aspect of a proposed solution from the prospect stage to the the project acceptance stage. The SE contributes to the achievement of T2’s strategic goals by working closely with the sales team and project management teams, imparting the technical knowledge gained in the sales process through to the project manager and project implementation team.
This position works with internal and external stakeholders to provide guidance, information, tools, and assistance toward the successful completion of projects. It requires an in-depth knowledge of T2 products, services, and solutions, as well as the ability to understand the operation of Parking Access and Revenue Controlled facilities.
The position requires the skills and expertise needed to formulate and document a fully integrated solution based upon the client requirements. This encompasses the ability to analyze complex client environments including, infrastructure, hardware and software factors, and crafting a solution that is the best fit for the client.
The successful candidate should have in-depth parking industry knowledge combined with solid technical understanding of the hardware and software typically used in the current parking business environment.
The ability to (a) develop and write a clear and concise document that unambiguously describes the solution to all stakeholders and (b) articulate T2’s PARCS and related software solutions verbally to the customer is essential.
