The Latest LAX Implementation Smart Parking Update 

Work on the significant Smart Parking project for Los Angeles airport is continuing with go-live in Q3 2021. AeroParker is central to the smart parking concept at LAX where our Commercial and marketing team have been responsible for setting budgets, revenue forecasting, product development and branding including on-site signage plus a 7-year programme of online and offline marketing. As part of the implementation the technical team have managed integrating with HUB JMS parking revenue control system, 3C as a payment gateway provider, Parksol for parking guidance, Powerflex for EV charging, and the LAX cloud-based data warehouse.

Frictionless Parking with AeroParker and Simplyture 

Following multiple installs and implementation of AeroParker and Simplyture’s license plate recognition system in NCP parking facilities in Manchester and London, AeroParker and Simplyture have formalized their relationship with a partnership agreement. The aim is to create a compelling and competitively priced offering for barrierless and/or contactless pre-book parking and pay as you go parking for downtown and Airport customers across the world.

Belfast City Airport Selects AeroParker for Car Park and Ancillary Prebooking 

AeroParker has been awarded the contract for pre-book parking at George Best Belfast City Airport following a competitive tender. AeroParker will replace the current prebook system and go live by Sept 2021. The new implementation will also include a switch to the PayPal payment technology (Braintree) which will allow the use of PayPal and Apple Pay as additional payment methods. The implementation also includes an upgrade to the latest version of the Skidata sweb API which will allow both license plate and QR code as access methods. The new implementation will also allow customers to input their flight number at the point of purchase enabling a host of ancillaries to be offered intelligently including Aspire lounges provided by Swissport
