Vancouver Waterfront Selects EnSight Technologies

- Vancouver, Canada
The new eight-story parking garage will feature 829 parking spaces, as well as 10,500 square feet of ground-floor retail space.

CW7 LLC, a prominent real estate developer in the Pacific Northwest, has selected EnSight Technologies, a San Diego-based parking technology organization, to deliver their cutting-edge Vision-Based Parking Occupancy Management System for their latest parking garage development in Vancouver, Washington.

The eight-story parking garage, located at The Vancouver Waterfront, will feature 829 parking spaces, as well as 10,500 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Visitors to The Vancouver Waterfront will be required to pay for parking at hourly or monthly rates.

EnSight Technologies, a leading provider of smart parking solutions, was selected to implement their state-of-the-art parking occupancy management system at the new garage. The EnSight System will be deployed by local partners, DGM Systems, and will provide parkers with up-to-date information on parking availability by level.

We are excited to be working with CW7 LLC and DGM Systems to bring our advanced parking occupancy management system to this new parking garage,” said Chris Scheppmann, Managing Partner of EnSight Technologies. “We are proud to be a part of the waterfront district’s transformation, and look forward to delivering a fast, intuitive parking experience to parkers at the new garage.”

Matt Grady, VP of Development at CW7 LLC, commented, “It is important for us to provide our parkers with a seamless and efficient parking experience. EnSight’s Parking Occupancy Management System will enable us to accomplish that. We are thrilled to be partnering with EnSight and DGM Systems on this project.

The EnSight Parking Occupancy Management System will consist of two exterior total space availability signs, one dynamic LED monument sign at the garage’s entry, 12 interior wayfinding signs, and 26 EnSight Fluid Learning Intelligence (“FLI”) car counting cameras. As parkers enter the garage, they will be greeted by an LED variable message board informing them of space availability by level, and as they drive through the garage, dynamic LED displays will indicate the available locations on that level for parking.

The new parking garage has commenced construction as of February 2023 at the Vancouver Waterfront and is expected to open in June 2024.
