ING DIRECT trusts INNOVA'S ALPR Solution at headquarters in Madrid (Spain)

The ING Bank has inaugurated its new headquarter in Madrid (Spain) a fully sustainable building with the highest LEED Platinum certification. In order to fulfill with maximum efficiency and security, ING Direct trusts Innova Systems Group ALPR Solution SIRAM OCR5 for being the main technology in charge of its Access Control System for vehicles.

The new bank facility located in Madrid, implemented Innova´s license plate recognition system SIRAM OCR5 ALPR to identify vehicles entering corporate parking lots. ING Direct, like other financial institutions such as the Bank of Spain or Bancolombia, is committed to the technology of automatic license plate recognition based on Deep Learning from Innova Systems Group for the management of vehicle access control.

After the successful implementation of the Innova ALPR system in many other headquarters from large companies such as Repsol, Naturgy, Iberdrola, Zurich, Mapfre or Caser; the “orange” bank chooses SIRAM OCR5 to guarantee accuracy & security. The launch of the Innova license plate recognition system at the ING bank headquarters in Madrid reinforces the leadership of Innova Systems Group in ALPR technological solutions sector.

Why SIRAM OCR5 is a great ALPR solution for Corporate Buildings? Corporate vehicles parkings are environments where thousands of private and corporate vehicles access and leave parking lot per day. The main feature of these accesses is that they tend to be concentrated in very short periods of time and this forces the license plate recognition system to be highly effective with success rates higher than 99%, and very fast to avoid any obstacle in the flow of circulation at the main building entrance or adjacent roads.

In an environment where the entry and exit of vehicles is constant, the effective management of the access control system becomes essential. Not only to ensure the safety of buildings, facilities and personnel, but also to guarantee the dynamic flow of vehicles as well as the effective reading of license plates under any weather condition and vehicle access angle.

Another key criterion of these corporate buildings is the need of integration with other electronic security platforms. That is why the SIRAM license plate recognition system is integrated into almost all major security platforms, such as the ones developed by Johnson Controls, Honeywell or Lenel.

Once again, Innova Systems Group allows maximizing the efficiency of vehicular access control systems through its ALPR technology based on Deep Learning SIRAM OCR5, guaranteeing maximum integration and versatility with any other access control or parking system.
