Nedap nominated for British Parking Awards 2012

Nedap AVI is nominated for the British Parking Awards 2012 with its wireless sensor for parking called SENSIT Surface Mount. The British Parking Awards are presented to the leading innovations in car park management, enforcement, design and team work. SENSIT Surface Mount is shortlisted in the category Innovation. The award gala will be held 9th of March 2012 in London.
This year the organization of the British Parking Awards received over 80 entries for the British Parking Awards. The SENSIT Surface Mount from Nedap AVI, the revolutionary wireless sensor to detect vehicle presence in individual parking bays, is shortlisted in the category Innovation. The sensor can be easily glued onto each type of parking bay and infrared sensors and magnetic fields are used to detect vehicle presence. The performance of the solution is impressive. SENSIT delivers accurate, real-time data that offers convenient parking guidance, detects overstay and detailed reports on parking utilization.
