Incheon International Airport Chooses NEXPA SYSTEM’S Parking Solution For Its Smart Parking Management and Guidance Project

NEXPA has been awarded the fourth phase enhancement of the smart parking management and guidance project of Incheon International Airport (ICN). As Skytrax’ #4 ranked airport in the world, ICN has been serving its visitors with pride and responsibility as a gate to Korea since its opening in 2001. With the groundbreaking ceremony of the fourth phase construction project last year, Incheon Airport is pushing ahead with a construction project to expand the airport as one of the top tree global airports with a scale of accommodating 100 million annual passengers by 2024.

To continue to improve its finest services and operational excellence, Incheon International Airport has decided to implement NEXPA’s parking management, parking guidance, and traffic management solutions.

The fourth phase enhancement of the smart parking management and guidance project of Incheon International Airport aims to create a perfect construction of optimal parking management and traffic management facilities that maximize service satisfaction and provide management efficiency.

The scope of this project is to establish optimal parking management and traffic management facilities in relation to the extension of the Terminal 2 short-term parking lot, expansion of the Terminal 2 long-term parking lot establishment of intra-airport terminals connecting roadways.
This project will transform a total of 2,826 parking spaces and the installation is scheduled to take place from Q4, 2020 to Q4, 2022.

NEXPA will provide advanced parking solutions including but not limited to parking management center optimization, fee calculation, find my car service, communication, and traffic control enhancement, traffic signal control, VMS, VDS, traffic enforcement, and road security.
