RR Parkon to take up 100 parking projects
RR Parkon, a member of the Mumbai-based Rs 1,500-crore Ram Ratna Group, will be signing up 100 projects over the next one year for its multi-level parking solutions, manufactured in technical collaboration with South Korean engineering company Dae Jin.
Multi-level parking models create horizontal and vertical parking spaces to park more vehicles in less space. RR Parkon has completed two projects in Pune, one in association with Pune Municipal Corporation and the other at a city hotel. The PMC project, which will operate on a build-operate-transfer basis, allows the parking of 80 cars in two towers of 20 levels each.
The company has already executed 40 projects at various locations in Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi and Jaipur.
According to Shreegopal Kabra, president, Ram Ratan Group, the company designs, manufactures, delivers and also maintains the multi-level parking systems. The manufacturing facility of the company at Khopoli, near Lonavala has a capacity of 300 cars per month. It will expand its capacity to 1,200 cars per month by the end of this year.
