Auburn University Joins the AIMS Family of Users

AIMS provides real-time integration with two mobile LPR vehicles and fixed LPR cameras.

Auburn University recently implemented the AIMS Parking Management System to support its Parking Services department as they enter the fall semester. Auburn uses AIMS to manage the online sales of their various permits and all other aspects of their permit management.

AIMS provides real-time integration through two mobile license plate recognition vehicles which support Auburn University's virtual permits and eCitation enforcement. Auburn will soon be adding a third LPR vehicle and also equipping two parking structures with fixed LPR cameras.

A spokesperson from Auburn University said, “We are very pleased with our transition to AIMS. We were searching for a vendor that could provide us with a robust communications, reporting, and financial system while also allowing us to continue our paperless enforcement and permitting. AIMS not only delivered the system we were looking for, but they also provided us with exemplary customer support and service. The support staff are very knowledgeable and responsive and always available via email or over the phone, whenever we need them.”

“Our office staff were nervous about learning a new system, but that nervousness was quickly eased when they realized how easy-to-use and functional the system is. We have convenient access to the information we need to better serve our faculty/staff and students. AIMS provided us with a system that works consistently and effectively and that’s exactly what we were in search of.
